The average wage for an American man in 2021 is $53,000, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which uses data from the Bureau for the National Income and Product Accounts.
That is up slightly from $52,000 for the median wage in 2021 and $49,000 from 2021 to 2022.
The average American man now earns about $56,000 a year, according the BLS.
The number of people working in the U.S. economy increased slightly in 2021, to 2.6 million, from 2.5 million in 2021.
The number of workers employed in the United States increased by 10.2 million from 2026 to 2024, and the number of Americans working in total employment increased by 1.2 billion to 1.6 trillion people.
The BLS defines a worker as a person who works more than 40 hours per week for an employer.
The median hourly wage in the country was $25.10 in 2021 as compared to $23.83 in 2021 for a full-time worker, according a recent study from the Economic Policy Institute.
In a report, the Economic Research Service reported that the average hourly wage for American workers rose from $23 to $26.50 between 2016 and 2021.
That increase came despite the overall decrease in the share of American workers in the labor force, the report said.
