Recode is reporting that the tech industry hasn’t gotten its act together to support its members in the face of President Donald Trump’s executive orders to roll back regulations.
The executive orders signed by Trump earlier this week also included a requirement for companies to report any wage cuts they receive from the government.
The new reports comes just days after the company released a study claiming that tech companies were losing as much as $1 trillion dollars in revenue annually.
The report also found that tech workers were paying $7,400 in federal taxes per worker and that there are $2.8 trillion in trade deficits between the U.S. and China.
The data, published on Thursday, comes amid calls from tech CEOs to lobby Congress to pass the JOBS Act, which would prohibit the president from enforcing any executive orders that could lead to major layoffs.
The JOBS act passed the House in March and the Senate is set to take up the legislation next week.
